Cueva Sacromonte Jesús el Negro. Your Private Event in the Heart of Granada

The caves of Sacromonte, in Granada, are testimonies of a history forged between mountains and time, where the hands of ancient inhabitants molded the earth to create homes on the farm.  Furthermore, in these caves there was a bark, a deep whisper of cultures that intertwined in the heart of the neighborhood, a song of the gitanos that made this place their refuge and sanctuary for their art.

In the Jesús Cave, the black man can celebrate your private events, weddings, meetings, baptisms, company scenes, interviews…etc, in addition to recording your own video clips.

The cave terrace has spectacular views of the Alhambra.

HISTORY AND PASSION

Cave of Jesus the Black

In the 1960s, this magical place was known as La Cueva del Estudiante, where the young people of the Abbey would meet. At that time, it belonged to a gypsy from Sacromonte, known as La Bote.

In 2005, Jesús Santiago Cortés, better known as El Negro and originally from Sacromonte, acquired the cave. From that moment on, the cave was transformed into La Cueva de Jesús el Negro, thanks to the care of Carmina García, who carried out a meticulous restoration, turning it into one of the most distinguished caves in Sacromonte.
